Miranda’s floor classes are based on Joseph Pilates’ methods on core stability training.  If your interest lies in strengthening your abdominal and spinal muscles then this is the offering for you.  When these core muscles are strong you will find more integrity within your entire body.  It is really truly amazing when it all starts to come together and you feel the mental and the physical ‘click’ go off- like a light bulb! Everything in you begins to function more efficiently and easefully when it is properly lined up and your body can hold itself effortlessly in that proper alignment.

Added bonuses for this class are that you become more flexible and you notice old aches and pains begin to melt away. You will also enjoy the rejuvenating effect this class has on your energy levels, not to mention the six-pack abs! Available for classes, partner and one on one training

Semi-private classes are currently ongoing on the upper east side of Manhattan. These classes consist of 8 or fewer people so that you receive the personal attention that you deserve.

WHAT IT IS- An hour long mat class inspired by Pilates and Yoga designed to de-stress and build confidence while increasing overall strength and flexibility.

SPONSORED CLASSES

You can join an ongoing sponsored class (times listed below) or if these times don’t work for you then you might want to consider starting your own class. Here’s how it works These semi-private (3-6 people) classes are held in 8 week sessions in various sponsors homes at a time decided on by you and your classmates.

  • Cost is $40 per person
  • All 8 sessions must be paid for at or before the first sessions for a total of $320
  • Up to 2 missed sessions may be made up in another class
  • Design your own class! Some options include Mirlates (Pilates/Yoga Mix), Restorative Yoga, Hard Core Abs, or you can stick with classic Pilates or Yoga

Classes are limited to 6 people so please reserve your spot at least 24 hrs in advance.

These classes are based on the Yoga Works style of training, which has integrated Iyengar and Ashtanga forms of Yoga.  This is an amazing physical, mental and spiritual discipline. As you deepen your yoga practice you also begin to realize your discipline and willpower in your everyday life.  Asana (the physical form of yoga that we practice in class) is only one of the 8 limbs of Yoga.  Through this class you will discover the other limbs and learn how to branch out in your life through all 8.  There are so many benefits to yoga it would be impossible to list them all but here are a few: Sharpens mental focus, creates integrity between strength and flexibility, increases cardiovascular health and decreases anxiety levels.  Available for classes, partner and one on one training.
